PT Dahana won numerous awards from the West Java Provincial Government. The awards, including Zero Accident, P2K3 Platinum Category, P2 HIV-AIDS Gold Category, and P2TB Silver Category, were presented directly by the Head of the West Java Manpower and Transmigration Office, Dra. Hj. I Gusti Agung Kim Fajar Wiyati Oka, M.Si., to Dewi Kurniaty, General Manager of Dahana OHSE, at the West Java Manpower and Transmigration Office in Bandung, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
Ms Kurniaty expressed her gratitude for the West Java Provincial Government’s appreciation. She said that this achievement reflects the company’s consistency in carrying out safe and responsible operations. She emphasized that for Dahana, implementing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards is not merely a matter of complying with regulations, but has become a work culture that is embedded in every aspect of the company’s activities, from top management to employees working in the field.
“Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), we are very proud and grateful to have won four awards at once at the beginning of 2026. These awards are clear proof that Dahana prioritizes employee safety and health above all else. This achievement is the result of the hard work and discipline of all Dahana employees in maintaining a zero-accident work environment,” said Ms Kurniaty.
Dahana’s OHS system is designed to high standards, given the extreme risks inherent in the explosives industry. The company implements strict procedures in every operation, from production and distribution to field operations. In addition to safety aspects, Dahana also expands the scope of employee protection through various programs to enhance its OHS culture.
Dahana regularly conducts annual employee Medical Check-Ups (MCUs), holds webinars, conducts health prevention and outreach programs on infectious and non-infectious diseases, and offers a weekly fitness program to improve employee health.
To commemorate National Occupational Health and Safety Month 2026, Dahana held various events, including a fun walk and exercise program, a fire drill competition, a safety poster competition, a virtual run and ride, an HSSE Mastery Challenge, a hazard hunt, a safety video challenge, on-site HSE, a blood drive, basic life support training, and community outreach on HIV/AIDS and TB.
Furthermore, Ms Kurniaty acknowledged that maintaining achievements is far more difficult than achieving them. She emphasized that this award serves as both motivation and a challenge for Dahana to continue making continuous improvements in every aspect.
“We dedicate this award to all Dahana employees who have diligently implemented OHS procedures and culture every day. However, our work is not yet complete. Let’s use this achievement as renewed motivation to continue achieving zero accidents and ensuring that every co-worker returns home healthy and safe,” Miss Kurniaty concluded.
